Michael A. Etienne


Michael A. Etienne, Esquire is the CEO of the Mike Law Firm, PA, serves as the elected city clerk in and for the City of North Miami, host a television show on Ivision T.V. titled "Michael Etienne at Large", and is a former law librarian (Nova Southeastern University College of Law Library). 


Etienne roots are well established here in Congressional District 24; he lived in Congressional District 24 all his life and graduated from W.J. Bryan Elementary, North Miami Middle School, and North Miami Senior High School. Etienne graduated from the Florida State University with a bachelor degree in Criminology, graduated from the Florida A&M University with a Juris-doctoral (J.D.) in 2007, and graduate for the University of South Florida with a Masters in Library Science in 2012. Etienne graduated from law school and won his first trial at the age of 23. 


Upon graduating from law school, he joined the Broward County Public Defender’s Office. Soon thereafter, Etienne started his own private law practice in North Miami, FL. Through his law practice, he provided affordable legal services to members of the community. From September 2010 through February 2011, Etienne served as a Legislative Aide in the Florida House of Representative while still practicing law. In February 2011, he resigned from his position in the Florida House of Representatives to run for North Miami City Clerk. 


On May 31, 2011, Etienne was elected North Miami’s City Clerk. Since his inception as North Miami Elected City Clerk, Etienne has provided service to over 40,000 South Floridian residents through his office.
